We are looking for a skilled IT Change Manager to oversee and manage changes within our IT environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that changes to IT systems, infrastructure, and processes are implemented smoothly, with minimal disruption to services and operations. The role involves close coordination with IT operations, project managers, development teams, and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end IT change management process, ensuring changes are logged, assessed, approved, implemented, and reviewed.
- Coordinate and facilitate Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings and ensure proper documentation and approvals.
- Evaluate change requests for risk, impact, and readiness in collaboration with technical and business stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with ITIL standards and internal governance policies.
- Maintain the Change Management database and produce reports on change performance, success rates, and trends.
- Support major incident management by identifying related changes and root causes.
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to plan change windows, backout plans, and communication strategies.
- Continuously improve change management processes, templates, and tools.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in IT change management, service management, or infrastructure/project roles.
- Solid understanding of ITIL practices; ITIL Foundation certification preferred.
- Experience working in ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, BMC Remedy, Jira Service Management).
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
