Summary of the role
* Act as the primary interface between the company and the customer. Own and grow customer accounts (revenue, profit, satisfaction).
* Able to read and write Mandarin language.
* Lead business reviews (QBRs, forecasts, capacity planning).
* Ensure contractual obligations and KPIs are met (quality, cost, delivery).
* Full Profit & Loss accountability for the assigned business unit or customer.
* Coordinate with manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, and quality teams to ensure smooth execution.
* Identify and drive growth opportunities: new programs, new markets, or expanded services.
* Lead cross-functional teams: program managers, planners, engineers, etc.
* Drive accountability and collaboration across departments.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and drive the product strategy for the assigned key account, aligned with market and customer insights.
- Define and support execution of account-specific tactics to achieve business plan targets (revenue, margin, market share).
- Ensure execution meets customer requirements, internal standards, and quality targets.
- Collaborate closely with all members of the key account matrix team, including:
- Sales and Application Engineers
- Product Management and R&D
- Quality and Materials Engineers
- Sales Operations and Manufacturing teams (globally)
- Develop compelling value propositions tailored to customer-specific use cases and technology trends.
- Provide regular sales forecasts and adjust plans to meet commercial targets.
- Track and report progress on key initiatives using an account KPI dashboard.
- Represent product and technology progress in internal and external meetings with the customer.
- Act as a key product interface during customer audits, technical reviews, and business negotiations.
- Drive the account product strategy based on competitive, technical, and market intelligence.
- Translate strategy into actionable business plans and support global marketing efforts where applicable.
- Lead product-related coordination within the global matrixed account team.
- Anticipate and shape customer product needs, aligning development roadmaps with internal capabilities.
- Provide clear and structured reporting on technology development, performance, and risks.
- Set and monitor sales targets for the assigned account in collaboration with the account and regional teams.

Requirements:
- Master’s or Degree in Engineering, Physics, Economics, or a related technical/scientific field.
- Strong written and spoken communication skills in business English & Mandarin.
- At least 6 years of experience in the semiconductor (SEMI) or EMS industry.
- Proven experience in key account management or product management in a matrixed, global organization.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex, high-tech product portfolios and cross-functional teams.
- Strong customer orientation and experience representing the company in technical and commercial discussions.
- Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented approach to product and business challenges.
- Experience with cost improvement, product development, and customer qualification programs.

Pay: RM15,000.00 - RM20,000.00 per month
