Job Responsibilities
As the Batik Artisan, your key role will be focusing on producing high-quality batik loose fabrics. This includes a few specialized-functions with all other work outsourced and a fully functioning department that converts raw materials into company products and packages them.
- Develop designs, and create and produce company products using traditional craftsmanship techniques (hand-drawn and hand-painted).
- Able to bring creativity and imagination to your works as well as having an appreciation for the skill and workmanship that go into the products you create.
- Use visual techniques such as composition, color, space and perspective to produce desired effects.
- Carry out administrative tasks including source of materials and tools, develop relationships with suppliers and meet budget.
- Adhere to health and safety rules and procedures and keep the workspace and tools clean at all times.

Qualifications and Skills
- Certificate/Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Textile Design and/or any equivalent education or relevant experience.
- Creative and artistic mindset.
- Dedicated and attentive to detail.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM2,200.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
