- Assist in Baking: Help with mixing, shaping, and preparing dough for various baked goods, including bread, pastries, cookies, cakes, and other items.
- Ingredient Preparation: Measure and prepare ingredients (flour, sugar, yeast, etc.) and assist in ensuring all ingredients are ready for baking tasks.
- Baking Process Support: Assist in monitoring oven temperatures, placing goods into the oven, and checking for proper doneness of baked items.
- Decorating and Presentation: Help in decorating cakes, pastries, or other baked products according to standard recipes or instructions.
- Cleaning and Sanitization: Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen area, including washing utensils, trays, and cleaning equipment after each use.
- Stocking and Organization: Help organize and stock ingredients and baking supplies in the kitchen, ensuring they are easily accessible for the baker.
- Packaging: Assist in packaging finished baked goods for display or customer orders.
- Maintaining Equipment: Clean and sanitize baking equipment and tools, including mixers, ovens, and baking trays.
- Following Recipes: Assist in following recipes and baking instructions accurately to ensure consistency in quality and presentation.
- Health and Safety: Follow all food safety, health, and hygiene regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Team Player: Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with other bakers and kitchen staff.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to follow instructions and recipes closely to ensure the correct quality and consistency of baked goods.
- Minimum Education : SPM , Diploma in Culinary will be an added advantage.
