Job Summary:
UCSI Schools is seeking a dedicated and passionate Primary Bahasa Melayu and Moral Education Teacher. The ideal candidate will inspire young learners to build a strong foundation in the Malay language and develop sound moral values. This role focuses on nurturing students’ academic skills, character development, and national identity in a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons in Bahasa Melayu and Moral Education for primary school students.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessments in alignment with the national primary school curriculum (KSSR).
- Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback and personalized support to improve learning outcomes.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that promotes curiosity, discipline, and active participation.
- Integrate moral values, Malaysian cultural elements, and character-building principles into daily lessons to enhance students’ personal growth.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers to ensure curriculum continuity and share effective teaching practices.
- Participate actively in school events, co-curricular programs, and parent-teacher engagements.
- Stay up to date with current educational practices and engage in ongoing professional development.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Bahasa Melayu, Moral Education, Education, or a related field.
- Recognized teaching qualification (e.g., Diploma in Education, PGCE).
- Experience teaching Bahasa Melayu and/or Moral Education at the primary school level.
- Strong communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to nurturing students’ academic and character development in line with national and cultural values.
- Passion for early education and fostering a love for language, ethics, and Malaysian identity in young learners.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM2,600.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
