Job Summary:
UCSI Schools is seeking a dedicated and passionate Primary Bahasa Melayu and Islamic Studies Teacher. The ideal candidate will inspire young learners with a strong foundation in the Malay language and a deep appreciation for Islamic teachings. This role is focused on developing students' academic abilities, moral character, and understanding of national and religious values at the primary school level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons in Bahasa Melayu and Islamic Studies for primary school students.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessments in alignment with the national primary school curriculum.
- Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback and individualized support to enhance learning outcomes.
- Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, discipline, and active participation.
- Integrate Islamic teachings and Malaysian cultural values into daily lessons to strengthen students' spiritual and moral development.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers to support curriculum continuity and share best practices.
- Participate actively in school activities, co-curricular programs, and parent-teacher engagements.
- Stay current with educational trends and continuously refine teaching methods through professional development.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Bahasa Melayu, Islamic Studies, Education, or a related field.
- Recognized teaching qualification (e.g., Diploma in Education, PGCE).
- Experience teaching Bahasa Melayu and Islamic Studies at the primary school level.
- Strong communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to nurturing students’ academic and personal growth in alignment with Islamic and Malaysian values.
- Passionate about early education and fostering a love for language, religion, and national identity in young learners.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM2,600.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
