Pre-Opening Responsibilities
- Assist in setup, testing, and commissioning of all AV systems (projectors, displays, speakers, microphones, mixers, lighting control panels).
- Support documentation of AV assets and ensure all are tagged and inventoried.
- Work with vendors and contractors to identify and resolve installation or system issues before handover.
Event & Meeting Support
- Set up and operate AV equipment for MICE events, weddings, and in-house activities.
- Provide on-site technical support during live events – from basic meetings to complex multi-room conferences.
- Troubleshoot sound, video, or connectivity issues under pressure.
Maintenance & Upkeep
- Conduct regular preventive maintenance for AV equipment, ensuring everything is in tip-top condition.
- Calibrate and adjust AV systems as needed for lighting, audio balance, and projection clarity.
- Report and escalate any faults or major repairs to the Engineering team.
Guest Interface
- Coordinate with the Events, Banquet, and Sales teams on AV requirements and event briefings.
- Guide guests on operating simple AV systems when required.
- Uphold the HARRIS spirit – friendly, vibrant, and professional at all times.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to RM2,800.00 per month
