JOB SUMMARY
- Plan, organize, implement, and oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency, including timely follow-up on action items.
- Lead the team in enhancing internal processes and procedures, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support the planning and execution of new initiatives and HR-related projects assigned to the unit.
- Contribute to strategic tasks such as benchmarking, data consolidation and analysis, proposal development, policy reviews, and preparation of presentation materials.
- Provide accurate guidance and information to staff on HR matters, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
- Supervise team members by setting professional standards, providing direction, and ensuring timely, high-quality work outcomes.
- Proactively identify and implement solutions to HR-related challenges in a resourceful manner.
- Liaise with government authorities and statutory bodies to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Build relationships with external stakeholders, including training providers, and participate in networking activities with other higher education institutions.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with all government, ministerial, statutory, and accreditation requirements in operations and reporting.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources or a related field from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant working experience, including at least one (1) year in a supervisory role.
- Practical experience in recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes.
- Strong planning and organizational skills with keen attention to detail, initiative, and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
- High level of integrity, with the ability to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with HR Information Systems (HRIS).
