Key Duties and Responsibilities
Media Relations & Outreach
- Develop and maintain relationships with key media outlets, influencers, bloggers, and industry stakeholders.
- Pitch stories, coordinate press visits, and secure high-impact coverage in luxury travel, trade, lifestyle, and business publications.
- Manage press releases, media kits, and crisis communication and responses.
Content Strategy & Brand Storytelling
- Create engaging content for press materials, newsletters, and digital platforms that reflects EQ’s luxury identity.
- Work alongside the operations and commercial teams to ensure that PR campaigns are aligned with brand initiatives and seasonal promotions.
Event Management
- Plan and organise press events, media familiarisation trips, product launches and previews to showcase EQ’s products and services.
- Set up collaboration with a variety of relevant marketing resources to promote EQ's products and services, and develop partnerships.
Reputation Management
- Monitor media coverage and social sentiment, addressing issues proactively.
- Uphold the hotel’s brand standards across all communications.
Reporting & Analytics
- Track PR campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
- Prepare monthly reports on media coverage, ROI, and industry trends.
Team Collaboration
- Mentor overall PR deliveries and support cross-departmental projects.
- Assist with administrative tasks, vendor coordination, and budget management.

Pay: From RM4,000.00 per month
