1.0 Job Summary
1.1 Oversees the daily tasks of the sales / events coordinators to ensure the smooth flow of all events arrangements
1.2 Responsible for the hotel’s revenue in Rooms & Catering Business
2.0 Duties And Responsibilities
2.1 Check and ensure accuracy of directory posting on events board and function room signage
2.2 Meet and greet organisers before and during events.
2.3 Check and ensure accuracy of backdrop arranged in the function venue.
2.4 Check and ensure that the menu served for all meals is as per the guests requirements for all events.
2.5 Attend to enquiries from walk–ins, telephone calls and e-mail from potential customers.
2.6 Secure leads on potential business and maximise the total revenue for
the hotel.
2.7 Assist the Sales / Events Coordinator on their individual succession plan.
2.8 To make 6 – 8 tele-calls / sales calls per day to potential clients with the objective of securing more business for the hotel.
2.9 To target 5 potential telemarketing calls per day on new accounts in – order to expand the current database on all revenue generated segments.
2.10 To establish and update Contact Report / Database on all companies with the potential for business and to be forwarded to the Director of Sales and Marketing on the companies feedback and discussion on future action plans.
2.11 To monitor closely on the production of each and every account based on the Individual Geographical area.
2.12 Assist to promote all Food and Beverage outlets in the hotel.
2.13 Chair the “Coordination Briefing” for events for the next three days. Brief on the profile of each company and run through the specific details on customer’s requirements.
2.14 Issue Group Resume for Group Convention and Group Others and high profile groups at least 7 days prior to the group arrival.
2.15 Attend sales briefing at 4.30pm on daily basis.
2.16 Meet and Greet VIP’s / Potential Customers upon check – in and scheduled Lobby Duty (if required) specially based on Volume Corporate, Long Stay, Government and Group Convention.
2.17 Follow – up with past function files for potential avenues on future functions.
2.18 The Events & PR Executive needs to ensure that all deposits and payments are received and payment procedures are followed through as per the billing policy extended in the quotation.
2.19 Handles larger Meetings Groups together with the Sales Personnel In – charge.

Pay: RM3,200.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
