Responsibilities:
Monthly Tasks
- Prepare comprehensive management accounts, financial ratios, and performance figures.
- Present monthly financial results and key insights to senior management.
- Coordinate with external stakeholders, including rating agencies and auditors.
- Prepare and submit audit reports and related documentation.
Daily Operations
- Review and oversee bank reconciliations, invoice postings, journal entries, and fixed asset records.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance in daily accounting processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or ACCA qualifications.
- 5 to 6 years of relevant accounting experience with strong knowledge of full set accounts.
- At least 1–2 years in a supervisory or leadership role, with experience managing junior team members.
- Willingness to work extra hours to meet critical deadlines (e.g., monthly closing on the 5th, ad hoc projects).
- Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to communicate financial data clearly to stakeholders.
Salary range: Up to RM7,000/month
