About the Role
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. This role offers the opportunity to work at the group level, supporting key financial reporting, budgeting, and transformation initiatives across a diversified business portfolio.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare monthly executive summaries and performance analysis, with a focus on the Property Segment and other business units.
- Support quarterly presentations to the Audit Committee and Board of Directors.
- Assist in preparing reporting notes for quarterly and annual financial statements (e.g., capital commitments, leases, receivables/payables).
- Collaborate with finance teams across business segments to support annual budgeting processes.
- Contribute to finance digitalization and transformation projects.
- Handle ad-hoc financial tasks and analysis as assigned by management.
What We’re Looking For
- Member of a recognized professional accounting body (ACCA, ICAEW, CPA, MICPA, MIA).
- Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in group accounting within a listed company; Big 4 audit experience is a plus.
- Strong technical knowledge in financial reporting standards and Bursa listing requirements.
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and accounting systems (e.g., SAP, Sage).
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
