To manage day-to-day accounting tasks, ensure accurate financial records, and support the finance team in maintaining compliance with financial policies and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Process supplier invoices and staff claims
- Prepare and monitor payment schedules
- Issue customer invoices and follow up on payments
- General Ledger Maintenance
- Record and reconcile journal entries
- Maintain accurate accounting records
- Banking & Reconciliation
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations
- Monitor and update cash flow records
- Reporting
- Assist in preparing monthly financial reports
- Support audit and tax filing processes
- Compliance
- Ensure proper documentation and filing of accounting records
- Comply with financial policies and procedures
- Support Tasks
- Assist with stock audits or petty cash if required
- Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, or banks as needed
